2009 turned out to be a pretty
exciting year for Days Afield Photography. I can not
thank all my editorial clients enough. Days Afield ended
the year with over 100 images published, five
covers, multiple photo essays, images in two
calendars and images in two outdoor
catalogues. We broke some new ground with some new
publications and conservation
organizations.
Zach and
I had some really great adventures this
year. We chased roosters in the farmland of North
Dakota, doves from the Carolinas to Tennessee,
and ducks in the Mississippi Delta. Our
fishing took us all over the western Carolina rivers and
streams, into East Tennessee and down to the Lake Istokpoga
in Central Florida. Smallmouth, Largemouth,
Browns, Rainbows, or Brookies, if it had fins we were
after it.
We met and
traveled with people from all over the country. We came
to the conclusion that people who love the sporting
lifestyle and sporting dogs are some of the finest
people you will meet in your life. A love for the
outdoors is the key to a good
life.
Days Afield is entering into a
sort of milestone year in 2010. This is the magical year
in the life a business, year number five. For me
this means we have made it . With the help of all
of our friends and clients we have crossed the first hurdle.
We want to thank you all for another great year of living a
dream. No telling where we would be without the support of all
of you.
Please
go to the client/agencies galleries and give them your
support.
