Days Afield Photography, LLC was founded by Chip Laughton in 2005 and is located in Tuxedo, NC.

Chip was called " the story teller" by the father of a child hood friend.  As a young boy he never imagined how accurate a description this would become.  A surfer and avid outdoorsman,  his adventures brought him across  North America, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.  Chip chronicled the travels of his companions on film.  Rarely did he have an image of himself  catching the wave of the day on the incoming tide in Costa Rica, or holding ten inch trophy brook trout on the back- country stream in the Appalachians, or his retrievers delivering a fat greenhead to hand.  Chip found his passion in the capturing that moment for his companions while enjoying their Days Afield.  Days Afield Photography provides top-notch photojournalism quality images of your outdoor adventures.
